Autochrome
Ein 1907 von den Brüdern Louis Jean und Auguste Lumière auf den Markt gebrachtes Aufnahmematerial für die Farbfotografie. Die einschichtige Autochromeplatte wurde durch ein Kornraster aus Kartoffelstärkemehl, deren Körner in den drei Grundfarben Rot, Grün und Blau eingefärbt waren, belichtet sowie betrachtet, lieferte eine pastellartige Farbwiedergabe und blieb fast 30 Jahre auf dem Markt, ehe sie von den modernen dreischichtigen Farbfilmen wie dem Kodachrome abgelöst wurde.
